It’s not wrong. It’s just no longer right for you.
I was chatting with a close friend lately on the topic of energy. We were discussing the inevitable changes that occur when you align with what is vibrationally right for you. This means that we can find ourselves shedding that which no longer serves our current energetic vibration and the person we become in the process. As I was referencing this I stated, “It isn’t wrong. It’s just no longer right for you.”
We are in a constant state of growth. Life’s experiences teach us, guide us and allow us to grow. It is within that growth pattern, and as we strengthen our growth muscle to raise our vibrations, that we can find ourselves detaching from people/places/things/ideas, etc. that once felt right to us and realigning with fresh ideas, relationships, and other life choices that feel better in our current state of being. Sometimes, this might leave us questioning prior decisions. Were those past decisions…wrong?
This is where my statement grows in meaning. They weren’t wrong. They were right for you at the time. You made those decisions, had those friendships, those relationships, the job, the circle of friends, etc. based on the knowledge and tools that you had at that moment. It is easy to look back and judge with today’s knowledge and energy, but that really isn’t being fair to yourself. We add to our toolkit as we progress through life. The choices we make ADD to who we are and lead us to something fresh and new. What we had before can either come along or fall away. It all depends on the energetic alignment of the person/place/situation and who you have become. Some things will stay, and some will go. All will shape us.
There is an opportunity here to look back at your former self and those life decisions with love, understanding and grace. Many of the choices we made were very right for us in that moment. Allow yourself the learning WITH that growth, rather than in judgment of it.
I don’t know about you, but I WANT to grow. I desire to continue to add knowledge and skills to my toolkit in life and to learn, learn and learn some more. I continue to desire to be a better person. I desire to meet new people that can add to life’s joy. To experience the newness that life has to offer as I work on strengthening my own energetic muscle.
Cheers to you in strengthening yours.
